La Casa De Esperanza Community Build

We're always excited about a community build, and the energy at La Casa De Esperanza on the day of the Venti build helped us lean into that excitement throughout the day! Volunteers arrived bright and early, eager to get started on this new play structure that will provide the students and guests of La Casa De Esperanza fun, colorful place to play for years to come!

The need for a new play space was clear, as students were using a public park near the school for their outdoor play time. Understanding the benefits of free play outdoors, La Casa De Esperanza wanted to bring the play onto school grounds, which would offer endless new opportunities for learning right outside their own door.

With a $15,000 grant provided by Dr Pepper Snapple Group and the nonprofit kaBOOM!, a community build was the last piece of the puzzle to provide the children with a safe, private play space. Over 70 volunteers in all came out to lend a hand, and a completed structure at the end of the day serves as proof that many hands truly do make light work.

Our first community built Venti, we were thrilled to guide such a positive, enthusiastic bunch to work together to build such a fun structure with bold, bright colors that pop next to the modern design of its home building.

We felt another hot Wisconsin summer day, but an endless supply of ice cold water and fresh snacks and the smell of a loaded grill helped everyone stay hydrated and energetic as they worked hard to finish the job.

To the staff and administration at La Casa De Esperanza, thank you for having us! We're so proud to be a part of your growth and are anxiously awaiting your Grand Opening!

We would like to shout a great big THANK YOU to the volunteers who gave their time, energy (and sweat!) to improve the lives of the students at La Casa De Esperanza. Your community thanks you, and so do we.

Now, shall we play?
